This blog came about as a result of my interest in how culture plays an active role in developing story.  I am the author of three books: A Lifetime Loving You, Deeply, and, writing as Ms. Thang’s Guide to Fly, Aine A. Thang.  I am the Artist-in-Residence for As Written By Teen Writers Group at the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Minnesota has a relatively homogeneous culture, compared to the rest of the United States (excluding North Dakota, South Dakota, Portland, and Idaho).
